Luxury Penthouse - Old Montréal

Amazing apartment and perfect location

Great property for a long weekend stay in Montreal. Fantastic location in old Montreal, close to the main drag with tons of restaurants and bars. Host was very responsibve whenever we had any questions and had recommendations for restaurants and bars in the area. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend to folks staying in the area.

Unfortunately there was a sewage leak in the building for the entirety of our stay. The smell permeated through the elevator shaft into the apartment. I appreciate that accidents happen, but it was never fixed over several days which makes me wonder about the building. The penthouse was poorly cleaned, crumbs on the floor, a dirty dish with chick bones found in the nightstand drawer, broken shelves in the dresser, dirty streaks across the kitchen cabinets, and about a hundred cigarette butts littering the outside space. The sewage smell and lack of cleaning seem to show that something is not right with this rental.
